The man must’ve had a blast playing Fyodor Karamazov; he cavorts about with energy and flair. From my reading of the novel many years ago, I just remember the heavy-duty philosophical monologues by Father Zosima, by Ivan, Dmitri and others. The thing that keeps this from being a five star book for me is Dostoevsky’s tendency to be very long-winded in some parts of the book.
